New year and I am surprisingly at University. Having failed my exams AGAIN I decided to quit this home-schooling lark and persue college education. I applied to various Scottish colleges but they were having none of my "I fell apart in the exam" nonsense and I was turned away. When I wasn't crying and cutting myself I looked up English places that I might stand a chance of getting into and I found a London based night school that takes in unusual students (mostly mature students) and teach us stuff lolololol.
But seriously, I found a Foundation Degree program (equivalent to 2 years of a BSc and I can move on to year 3 of a proper BSc once I finish this one) in Science.
As my first week of higher education dies, I have time to reflect on what I've learned in my lectures:
Maths can be fun. Srsly.
I sweat a lot in the underground and underpressure.
And finally, that reading is AWESOME.
More to come, including minor celebrities and mice sightings on the London Underground, reports of a mental breakdown following first assignment and spending all my time watching Sex and the City.
